Welcome to the 2008 NFL Season! Giants pulled out a victory 16-7 to start the season off.
Pretty simple recap on the season opener, the Redskins just failed miserably on offense. No big surprise there. Jason Campbell was decent at best stats wise, but he played an awful game. He failed to manage a comeback at the end, throwing too many short routes and check downs when the team desperately needed him to step up and move the ball. The running game was also surprisingly ineffective, rushing for only 84 yards (all by Clinton Portis).
