Here at http://allhailredskins.com, we eat, sleep, and BREATHE the Washington Redskins. We don’t just watch the games, we live for them.  We don’t just cheer for them, our days and moods revolve around them.  And above all, we BLEED burgundy and gold.

These original die hard Redskins fans, Warren Montgomery, SkinslovalindS and DJ Blitz, took it upon themselves to create an online community where they could speak their minds about our beloved franchise in D.C. And thus, All Hail came about. We’ve taken on two new writers and are always looking for others to help our site gain ground in the wonderful word of blogs and to be recognized as a legitimate site for Redskins news.

But don’t go thinking we only blog about the Skins here. From NFL News, to the NFC East, to Fantasy Football, and anything else related, you can satisfy your football-obsessed needs with us at http://allhailredskins.com.  We not only appreciate but encourage our reader’s feedback and look very forward to interacting with our readers.  Because where better to be speak your mind than among those who have the same passion and appreciation for the Redskins as you?

Portland Blazers - Milika L. Hopoi

Really now, I think we all know who should be the Starting Five. Portland loves Brandon Roy since his breakout rookie season, but now Portland is also in love with this Rudy character. The other three spots should be filled by crazy players who don't give a sh*t about the money but rather just the exposure: Batum, Frye and Pryzbilla. But let's see how long it's going to take the Blazers to finally figure it out... umm, hopefully not 5 seasons like it did back in Pippen's time when the coaches were scared of Rasheed to not start that crackhead.

But really, Rasheed was a great entertainer. Nonetheless, he's Blazer past. The future lies witihin a starting 5 that would produce decent scores thus earning their starting position. Has starting the game really gone to be a public record? Where starting the game is more important than actually producing decent scores? Many players in the league who start the game, have been proven to produce a victory. Coaches who take chances on their players, usually come out with the victories.

Even though this has been a "down-year" in all things having to do with Seattle Sports, there is a group of dedicated writers looking to provide reasons and answers for our terribly under performing teams.

SeaTown Sports ( http://www.seatownsports.net/) is an independent sports blog that is dedicated to providing up-to-date analysis and news of sports happenings in Seattle. We focus on the Seattle Seahawks, the Seattle Mariners, and Washington Husky Sports. We also include insight on high school sports around the Seattle area.

As avid sports fans, me and my friends often discussed, argued, debated, and sometimes fought over things relating to Seattle sports. We decided to take this passion and put it into this blog. While we continue to enjoy, play, and

Game Preview of Portland at Utah 11/5

On the road vs the Utah Jazz. A hard nosed veteran team that won 54 games last season and a division title. The Jazz beat us twice in preseason. But in both games a number of our frontline players sat the game out. The second time we did this there were rumors that Nate didn't want to show Jerry Sloan his full bag of tricks. We'll see. Everyone should be available for this game against the Jazz.

Speaking of Jerry. He is a throwback. A hard-nosed ex-player coach. A former Chicago Bull from the Van-Arsdale twins era of NBA basketball. He is a tough old bugger and perhaps the NBAs leading proponent of good old fashioned pick and roll, pick and pop basketball. He doesn't do anything fancy. Just the same old stuff over and over and over again. He is a master at getting his team to execute these simple plays to perfection. And he is also a master in the art of game adjustments. Before we hired Nate I really wanted our team to go after Jerry Sloan. He may be the best coach in the league. Sorry Phil, you had MJ and Pippen, and Kobe and Shaq. Yes, Jerry did have Malone and Stockton, but not much else. And I question whether their careers would have been the same if they had played for a different coach. Jerry Sloan has done more with less than any coach in this league.

Seattle Seahawks - Nick Tucker

At the very beginning of this football season I sat down with the newly released 2008 schedule and put together a little "Predictions Sheet 2008" on excel. After quite a bit of thinking and looking at what teams did last year, what changes they made during the off season, etc, etc, I predicted that the Seahawks would end the year at 12-4. Going into their bye week, I predicted that they would 3-0. Then the crap hit the fan. Over the next several weeks we managed to get 5 of our wide receivers injured along with Morris. Now reality is setting in. We are currently 1-2 with the toughest part of our schedule coming up. Over the next 10 weeks we face 9 playoff contenders. Not only do we have to travel to New York to face the undefeated, reigning champion Giants but we also get to play Green Bay, Philadelphia, Washington and New England, but that's not all. To top it all off we play the Cowboys, in Dallas, on Thanksgiving Day. It was in this span of games that I had the Seahawks losing 3 of their 4 total losses that I had for them in my predictions. This would mean that if the remainder of my prediction came true, we would end the season at 10-6. That is the best I can see us finishing at this point. Now you stop and think about a few other things. 1- The 49ers are playing quite a bit better than they have in a while. They were able to come into Qwest Field and beat us. Granted it was close, but those were the games we always won. There is a chance that we could get swept by the niners this year. Believe me, I don't like this thought any more than you do. 2- The Cardinals have a pretty powerful offense with Warner at the helm. Their defense is still horrible, but they have given us troubles over the last few years in Phoenix. I think it's time to face the reality that we could actually have an 8-8 or 9-7 season. It's kind of funny when you stop and think about. Before Holmgren came along we would have seen a 8-8 or 9-7 season as pretty successful. We had been winning anywhere between 3-6 games a year pretty regularly. If you stop and think about our past, it's pretty amazing what expectations we have of this team here at the end of Holmgren era.

they fired coach lane kiffin. making that 6 coaches in the last 5 years. that is how a franchise stays in disaray. its kind of sad because they do jave some talent and could be a good team but that front office needs to get it together.
